ESC Acquisition Excellence

The next ESC Integration Week is scheduled for Sept. 11–15, featuring more than 50 separate training sessions encompassing various disciplines within acquisition.

Individual training sessions range in duration from one hour to two days in length. Integration Week activities will kick off Sept. 11 with a Memorial Walk in recognition of the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.

More information will be available on the Integration Week website.

Integration Week training will be provided by Hanscom functional area experts and personnel from the Defense Acquisition University, Air University and Defense Contract Management Agency and the Acquisition Center Of Excellence at Brooks City Base, Texas.

The Net-Centric Momentum Series will consist of five different offerings during the week. Also, tours are being offered at three different locations: MITRE, Lincoln Labs and Avidyne Corporation, where the hardware and software discussed in the System Safety in Action presentation are developed and tested.

Integration Week training is open to all ESC military and government service personnel. Specific training sessions are also open to FFRDC and A&AS contractor personnel as noted on the individual registration pages.

Individuals are encouraged to take advantage of these training opportunities. Military and government service personnel in Acquisition Professional Development Program positions may satisfy a portion of their mandated Continuous Learning Point training requirements through attendance.

Many classes have limited enrollment, so individuals are encouraged to register as early as possible. Access to the registration page is via ESC CENTERNET or the ESC Integration Week website. For more information, contact Dave Hines at (781) 377-3249.
